Schools and
Blended Camps

Koru Camp offers schools the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom and into the wild – creating unforgettable experiences that are both educational and transformational. Our camps support a range of outcomes, from strengthening understanding of environmental topics to building confidence, leadership, and real-world skills. Learning becomes tangible as students engage directly with the natural world, while shared experiences in camp help develop communication, teamwork, and independence.

A central part of our school model is blended camps. Students, typically from private schools, attend alongside peers from local communities of a similar age, identified through our NGO partners. By learning and living together — on game drives, in activities, and around camp — both groups gain new perspectives on a different culture and lifestyle, build meaningful connections, and develop a deeper understanding of conservation.

We work closely with each school to shape the experience, ensuring it aligns with your objectives while remaining accessible and relevant for all participants. Find out more about the educational activities we offer, and our structured camp programmes and pathways, on our Learning page.
