Koru Camp is built on partnership. Our work is made possible by the organisations and individuals who choose to invest in creating access to nature for local communities. While our subsidised rates keep camps accessible to other NGOs, they do not cover the full operating cost of a camp. It is only through your help that we can continue our work.

Volunteer (EcoTraining Programme)
Volunteering at Koru Camp offers a unique opportunity to gain practical guiding experience in the Greater Kruger while contributing to a meaningful, community-focused programme. We host volunteers through our partnership with EcoTraining, welcoming international students who have completed their Field Guide qualification.
The programme provides the chance to guide real guests under the mentorship of our experienced team, while also gaining insight into the realities of conservation and the complex relationship between protected areas and local communities. This creates a valuable opportunity for shared learning and cultural exchange, while helping us extend our impact. If you would like to find out more, please get in touch.
