Our Camps
At Koru Camp, we offer a range of educational programmes designed to meet the needs of our partners. From conservation and environmental learning to leadership development and girls’ empowerment, each programme is built around clear learning objectives while staying true to our core approach – learning through experience in nature.
Working with NGOs, schools, and community organisations, we host multi-day camps that combine game drives, interactive activities, and shared time in the bush. Whether it’s a first experience of wildlife or a deeper exploration of key topics, each camp is designed to be engaging, practical, and memorable.

NGO Camps
Koru Camp is built around partnership. We work closely with NGOs to create meaningful opportunities for your beneficiaries to experience and learn from nature in ways that support your goals and strengthen your programmes.
Our camps are designed to deliver real outcomes – building knowledge, confidence, and connection to the natural world. For many participants, it is a first experience of the wilderness, helping to shift perceptions, inspire curiosity, and support long-term engagement with conservation and personal development.
Bespoke Camps
Bespoke Camps
For groups with specific goals or specialist focus areas, we also offer bespoke camps. These are tailored experiences where we adapt the programme or bring in external facilitators to deliver targeted learning. Previous examples include diabetes education camps, staff training for ECD teachers and healthcare providers, and specialist guiding camps focused on tracking and geology.
Bespoke camps are designed in collaboration with your organisation and may involve an additional fee depending on the level of customisation or external expertise required. If you have a specific idea or need, we would be happy to explore how we can bring it to life at Koru Camp. Contact us at corne@korucamp.orgÂ
